In 2007, the first Pink Ribbon awareness campaign was launched in Switzerland – at that time, the pink ribbon was hardly known to the Swiss population as a symbol of breast cancer. Various subjects with prominent Swiss ambassadors have sensitized the population and drawn attention to the early detection of breast cancer, because breast cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide.
In Switzerland, an average of 6,200 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year and more than 1,400 women die from it. Our goal from the beginning was to break a taboo and draw attention to the importance of early detection, because the earlier a tumor is detected, the higher the chances of recovery. With our commitment, Airex® wants to save lives and give courage and confidence to those affected.

Pink Ribbon Charity Walk: more than 5000 persons walk or run a 4km loop at the Zürich Letzigrund Stadium to raise solidarity and draw attention to breast cancer.
Pink Ribbon Yoga: The annual Pink Ribbon Yoga tour will start in June in Zürich Sihlcity. All participants will do their exercises and enjoy “their space and peace” on a brandnew AIREX® Pink Ribbon Yoga mat.
